Nativity School of Worcester is an accredited, independent, Jesuit middle school that provides a quality, all-scholarship education to underserved boys of all faiths. Drawing upon four pillars – strength, scholarship, character, and service – a Nativity education inspires self-discovery, responsibility, spiritual growth, and a lifelong dedication to learning. Our school enrollment is 59 boys in grades 5 through 8. All of our students are residents of Worcester, representing 26 different Worcester neighborhoods, and all admitted students meet the family income requirements to qualify for the national free or reduced lunch program, placing their household incomes at or below the federal poverty line.

Our model is unique, effective, and is the only school in Worcester to provide students with the extended, comprehensive programming and individualized support they need to succeed. There are four programming aspects of a Nativity education: The Nativity curriculum, After-School program, Summer Session, and Graduate Support program. During our academic school days, students are educated in a challenging academic curriculum that includes language arts, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, Spanish, and world religions and morality, as well as a robust Renaissance curriculum that includes various types of arts. There are no more than 17 students in a class at Nativity Worcester. The After-School Program supplements the education received by students during the school day with a comprehensive, character-building sports and activities program in the afternoon and an individualized tutoring program in the evening. All students participate in either an interscholastic sport team or our intramural sports program each season as well as an after school club. Evening Study runs three nights a week, completing our extended school day. After individual students' academic deficiencies are assessed and identified, students are paired with a volunteer tutor, typically undergraduates from Assumption College and College of the Holy Cross, to work on exercises to build competencies in those areas.

Nativity Worcester is the only tuition-free private middle school in Central Massachusetts, and each family only pays a $250 activity fee per year for their student's education. All tuition costs, as well as costs of materials, programming, facility and administrative costs are covered by donations and grants.
