Approximately 3.5% of all Nevadans are blind or visually impaired - 16,000 are children under the age of 20. Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation (NBCF) is the only organization in the state solely dedicated to serving blind and visually impaired children up to age 22.
Mission
Provide the essential building blocks including extended educational curriculum, extracurricular activities, social opportunities, and transitional skills to children who are visually impaired.

Every child with a visual impairment reaches their full potential.

Educate - Increase high school graduation rates.
Employ - Increase employment rates.
Empower - Empower children who are blind/visually impaired with the skills and self- determination to advocate for themselves.
