The Mission of the Nevada Diabetes Association is to improve the lives of anyone affected by diabetes through direct programs and services, education, prevention, and advocacy. The organization has a program and service for anyone affected by diabetes.
The Nevada Diabetes Association provides camp programs (two week-long resident camps, two weekend resident camps, and a week-long day camp), support group programs (families, children, teens, young adults), comprehensive online diabetes resource directory, education seminars, community outreach, emergency medical assistance program, and advocacy services. The Nevada Diabetes Association serves individuals of all ages and from all walks of life. It is the goal of the organization to see that all individuals living with diabetes are provided with the knowledge and the tools required to successfully manage this condition and avoid the potential life-threatening complications that diabetes can cause.
