The mission of Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza is to preserve and honor the legacy of our fallen Nevadan Service Members since 1864. Once completed fully, the NVMP will have the names of our fallen Nevadans and the Ron E. Smith Educational Path, named in loving memory of our dear friend and Co-Founder. The educational path will display Nevada’s history and involvement throughout the years in regards to our country's freedom. It will be a place for Veterans and Educational Groups to gather and hold various events, a place for families to teach their children, a hallowed ground for those who lost loved ones, a platform to learn, teach, and storytell, and a staple in our community for those traveling through to stop and appreciate or freedoms.
