NEHSA is a non profit organization which was started 51 years ago. A group of returning Vietnam Veterans started an adaptive ski program for service members who had sustained combat injuries. Today, NEHSA operates as a year-round program serving Veterans and civilians of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities from across New England. NEHSA offers, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking ect.
Mission: NEHSA serves individuals and families through adaptive sports, promoting healing and accomplishment.
Vision: A world with strong, supportive communities providing full access to natural resources, an active lifestyle, and the highest possible level of independence.
