Since our founding in 1959, New Hampshre PBS has been governed by a local Board of Directors, as the only statewide locally owned and operated PBS Station. Five transmitters carry the station's signal to 98% of the state. Monthly, NHPBS serves 1,000,000 NH residents on-air, online, mobile, in classrooms and in communities. 200,000 students annually benefit from NHPBS' free, curriculum-aligned, educational services. The station receives no state funding but 22,000 members support programming that serves as a catalyst for new ideas, community connection and civic engagement. NHPBS is valued by its viewer for providing high quality, educational programming that can't be found anywhere else.
