I am writing this on behalf or an amazing dog rescue in East Alabama. My friend Jenny Rogers is the director and is in need of our help.

First a little history about this rescue. The first few years Jenny helped dogs on a smaller level then what is currently happening. Money from her own pocket. In 2017 she became an official non-profit and 501c3. Since then she works a full time job at Auburn University, fundraises and houses many of the rescue dogs. Currently there are over 70 dogs in rescue or foster homes. New Hope Rescue is financially responsible for their vet bills, housing, food and care until they are adopted.

Several weeks ago New Hope took in a litter of puppies from Lee County Animal Control. Sadly with in days the whole litter was at various vets with parvo. Jenny treated the ones she could with vet guidance. Sadly only three survived. The vet bills now total over $5000.00.

New Hope needs more fencing. More fencing means more dogs being saved. Jenny has someone willing to match up to $5000.00 in fence donations. But first she needs to get the $5000.00 in donations.

New Hope spends close to $100,00.00 a year in vet care. Then there is food, boarding if no fosters are available, bedding and cleaning supplies.

Now to get to the point. They need money. Donations of checks, Zeffy, cash are amazing! But also donations of services, items, adventures, tickets etc are needed for auction.

At the the top you will find the info where you can mail donations or Zelly money. If you have items that need to be picked up for auction just let us know. Remember all donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your help in advance!
