The New Hopewell Elementary PTA strives to support our staff, students and community through active volunteering, fundraising and participating in the betterment of our school. We are a group of parents, teachers and community members who are commited to showing up for our kids in any way that we can to support the success of the students, teachers and staff at our school.
New Hopewell is located in South Knoxville, TN. It is one of Knox County's smallest schools, with an enrollment of just over 200 students. More than half of these children are from low-income families. Even with these liabilities, New Hopewell has a history of maintaining high standards, in both academia and character.
The funds we raise go directly to support the school, staff and students. We provide teacher/staff appreciation hospitality throughout the year. We host fun family engagement nights and special activities at the school to support students and families. We help pay for field trip buses, meet material/supply needs for our classrooms, provide yearly teacher stipends, volunteer in the school to support our teachers and students and much more!
