NJAC's mission is to provide safety, opportunity and access to resources that results in greater social equity and individual self-worth. We serve reentering citizens, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and people with HIV. We are a staewise aganecy serving seven counties in NJ, inclduing nine residential programs. This request is to support PCDSVC (formerly PCWC) the domestic and sexual violence program for Passaic County. We offer a 24-hour hotline, 29-bed emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, crisis intervention/response, counseling/case management and child creative arts therapy for children that have witnessed domestic violence. Our mission at PCDSVC is to provide practical and emotional resources so survivors and their children have the support needed to obtain safety and increase stability.
