This organization is dedicated to share their love of fishing by provding events to help Veterans, chldren and individuals with special needs to enjoy outdoor fishing related activities as well as promote environmental conservation.
We have a fishing trip with disabled veterans fishing in the Raritan bay. Previou
s trips consisted of approximately 30 veterans.
The special needs event is held at Echo Lake in Union, NJ and provides a full day of fishing, food and entertainment for a large group of attendees. The lake is stocked and we are in constant contact with the attendees so they may experience the joy of catching their first fish.
We also support Heroes on the Water, Hooked on Fishing, not on drugs, and sponsor a trout programs.
All these events are free to the participants. This is an all volunteer group, no paid positions.
Fund raising is done locally but we really need to have a major sponsor to keep this good work viable. Any consideration of funds, product or just good wishes woudl be greatly appreciated.
