The Newport Band Parents Association (NBPA) enriches our students’ band experience in many ways…
We provide information to parents
We encourage parent involvement with the band program
We plan and host special events
We coordinate volunteers
We support the Newport High School Band staff
We provide a forum for new ideas
We raise and administer funds to support band opportunities and supplement the equipment budget, allowing us to buy and repair instruments for the students and to provide need-based student financial assistance for various events.

GOALS:
To ensure every student has the opportunity to learn and explore music. To provide opportunities for students to travel for parades and adjudicated events. To provide development opportunities with professional coaching & mentoring. To host events for students & families to develop community values.
