Newton Community Development Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1968 to foster economic and cultural diversity in the City of Newton through the development and management of affordable and mixed-income housing communities for low-and moderate-income individuals, families, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Four of the six NCDF properties: Boylston Street, Casselman House, Houghton Village and The John W. Weeks House are located within walking distance of Newton Centre and have a combined count of 172 apartments with more than 300 residents making their home at these properties. The other two properties are located in West Newton. We have a comprehensive Resident Services program that addresses the various and changing needs of our residents through a range of supportive services and activities that enrich lives, promote a healthy lifestyle, foster community spirit and sustain independent living.
