The Nicole Dondero Memorial Fund was created to continue our daughter Nicole's philanthropic giving ways, build her legacy and create a non-profit in her name. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to elevate Massachusetts children and animals in need through collaborative fundraising events. Nicole was tragically killed in 2019 and we wanted to help those in need for many years to come. We felt that making a difference in the lives of others would help to make our lives a little more bearable.
We have donated to Vocational School Cosmetology shops and two student scholarships are given each year at Bridgewater State University. We donate to Teen Challenge, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and St. Jude Children's Hospital. We support Sunshine Farm, a place for children in the state's foster care system to feel safe and bond with farm animals as well as make sure that each child had a gift to open for Christmas. We provided dining room chairs to the Conway House Homeless Shelter so families could sit together for their meals and we sent campers with disabilities to Camp Fatima for a week. We donated a police K-9 tactical vest through MA Vest-A-Dog and have donated to multiple animal shelters. We try to follow needs and help as many as we can along the way.
