Our PTA mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.
PTA provides Nimitz with:
- Technology Specialist to work with all grade levels in the computer lab
- Art instructor for primary grades
- School assembly enrichment performances from professional artists
- Science Camp and other field trip contributions
- Classroom budget supplements
- Library budget supplements
- Community-building events such as Harvest Festival, Thanksgiving and Cultural Feast, Family Science Night, After School Care and Movie, among others.
- And more....
Nimitz PTA works hard fundraising to maintain these key programs which are not or no longer supported through the California State School Funds program. Without these funds, we cannot continue our level of support for Nimitz and our children.
