North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization working with over 2000 shelter partners across the country. At the current time we have 165 shelter animals being cared for with our shelter employees and our volunteers during this difficult time. Our fundraising events have been cancelled however we are doing a virtual walk thru May 31. Shelter is closed but doing pre-approvals through appointments. Our veterinary staff remains open to care for sick animals and emergencies. We are offering our social emotional learning humane education program to educators and parents for free right now as they adapt to remote teaching and home schooling.
