The North Valley Military Institute is a one of a kind charter school in Los Angeles County that has proven a daily military learning structure works for a variety of students, including many who have been unsucessful in other school settings. Bulit on 4 pillars of learning academics, citizenship, leadership and athletics the school provides a college preparatory environment where 100% of our seniors graduate and of those graduates are accepted into a 4 year college. About a third of our student participate in an early college program that allows them to graduate high school with an Associate degree. Our students are low income and at risk many are homeless some live in foster care and 25% with disabilites. The once common thread that runs through our Corps of Cadets is their efforts to find a way out of violence, trama,crime and gangs that threaten their lives and futures.
