The Northbrook Community Nursery School (NCNS) is a non-profit, non-denominational preschool that has been in operation for over 70 years. NCNS provides high quality early childhood education in a warm and nurturing environment. The preschool's core philosophy is that children learn best through play, and the Creative Curriculum utilized in our programs reflects this core belief. NCNS has always been a very active school with many events for the children and parents creating a strong sense of community. NCNS is managed by a volunteer parent Board of Directors.
Northbrook Community Nursery School, through the cooperation of staff, board and parents, is committed to meeting the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of each child. The preschool strives to facilitate this development within a nurturing environment that enables each child to realize his or her full potential.
NCNS believes it is important to serve all the children of the community. NCNS does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, national origin or disability. All children will be considered for enrollment in our classes (2 years old through Pre-K) through our established enrollment process and policies.
