For 24 years, the Myra Rubenstein Weis Luncheon has raised funds to support a variety of programs including the Living in the Future (LIFE) Canacer Survivorship Program which has become a role model for other survivorship programs nationalwide.
Over 350 people attend the Luncheon each year and proceeds from the Luncheon provide funding for a variety of programs including a brand new program entitled Arts $ Health which is a component of the NorthShore University Health System at Deerfield Behaviorial Health which through the modalities of art, music, dance/movement, drama and improvisation will spark and/or facilitate improvement of social/emotional/physical/cognitive function in youth and adolescents as they relate to mental health and wellbeing.
