The Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency Inc. (NWCSA) is a private non-profit entity incorporated under Wisconsin Statues on the 16th day of May 1967 in accordance with the Econimc Opportunity Act of 1964. The NWCSA service delivery area covers the five Northwestern Countie of Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, Iron and Price.
As a community-based organization we are dedicated to the betterment of life of the low-income residents in our service area. Wide arrays of programs are offered by way of assistance to alleviate the needs of the disadvantaged. Some of the program adminsitered include homeless shelters, food pantries, rental assistance, Adult Day Care, senior centers, income tax assistance, utility and rent/mortage assistance.
