The NSSEO Foundation's purpose is to secure and channel resources to support and promote the educational programs and services for students served by the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO).
NSSEO was formed in 1968 and is supported by the NSSEO Foundation. NSSEO is an Illinois public school special education cooperative which provides comprehensive educational programs for students with significant disabilities in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Students' challenges may include cognitiive disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism, hearing and visual impairments, physichal/health impairments, communication disorders, sensory and/or behavioral impairments. The students, who range in age from 3 - 22 years, are provided a full range of special education programming and services that are designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
