The O'Fallon IL Police Dept host numerous commnity outreach events throughout the year geared toward the children within our community ranging from 5 years old- High School Age.
We have been hosting a Cops and Kids event for the past 22 years during Chiristmas time but recently have added events for Junior High and High School age children where we take them shopping for new shoes and clothes for Back to School events. He believe strongly in focusing on improving their positive image of them selves while showing them the police in their community are here to help them. Children with strong self respect will perform well in school and this will increase the chance they contoinue on to college or trade schools and thus a successful career path.
