The Oak Grove Marching Band and Color Guard is one of the top music programs in San Jose, receiving awards in competitions all over the state of California. The Oak Grove High School band program, including Jazz, Percussion, Wind Ensemble, and Symphonic Bands, as well as the Marching Band and Color Guard, have set and achieved high levels of excellence and established strong traditions - the cornerstone of a long-lasting, successful program. The Oak Grove High School Band Boosters (OGBB) is a nonprofit group organized for the sole purpose of supporting ALL band programs at Oak Grove High School. OGBB has been supporting the music and guard programs at Oak Grove High School since 1985. The students who are involved in these programs develop important life skills such as dedication and commitment, as well as strong, lifelong friendships. The Oak Grove Marching Band and Color Guard program is considered one of the finest in the state! OGBB exists to enhance the support that the program receives through the school district. Booster activities provide the necessary funds, volunteers, and equipment to assist the band and guard directors. OGBB is currently funded almost entirely through donations and fundraising.
