Oak Park Festival Theatre, founded in 1975, is the oldest professional classical outdoor theatre in the Midwest. Now in its 47th Season, Festival Theatre performs Shakespeare and other classics outdoors in the summer in Oak Park's beautiful Austin Gardens and smaller productions in a variety of performaces spaces throughotu the year.
