The Oak Ridge Home and School Association's mission is to promote a closer relationship between the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the children. We promote the fellowship and welfare of the children and families in the home, school, and community. The Home and School Association also seeks to enhance the quality of the children's learning experiences and to support the school's educational programs. We provide financial support and parent volunteers for programs and activities that support the students, teachers, administration, and families at Oak Ridge Elementary. Some of the items we support are Art in School, Importance of Play projects, field trips, after school recreational programs, and providing assistance for families in need.
