Oasis of Hope House knows that our strength lies not only in our consistent delivery of programs and practice, but using national best practices for providing emergency shelters.
Back in 2017, our community began planning this Non-Profit Organization. We realized that by working together we could overcome our community homelessness challenges much more efficiently. After much work as a community, we were able to open Oasis of Hope House in 2022.
Now we are building our sustainability through the help of local donors and sponsors for our guests and programs. Please consider joining our team!
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our community faces, Oasis of Hope House is dedicated to making a lasting impact one person at a time. Since our efforts are driven by our vision and passion for others, we work hard at investing in each person's future and success.
We are proud of our hard working professional staff. Oasis of Hope House has 24 hour security staff as we are open for guests to use the house 24 hours.
We have daily case managers and consultations available and work together with our guests to remove barriers and set up families for success.
We are able to have highly qualified staff because of your help!
Oasis of Hope House has had professional advice, policies and best practice from all agencies in the state as well as other shelters.
Our practices and policies are supported through MISHDA, Salvation Army, NEMCSA, United Way, MiWorks, DHHS, other shelters, HUD and more.
Monthly we gather to review current policies and work together to seamlessly offer successful help to the community.
We welcome the community to join our advisory board and offer their expertise.
