OLSSI is a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit that organizes and hosts an annual continuing education conference for library staff in Ohio and surrounding areas. Specialists renew and learn new skills, in addition to sharing ideas to better serve their patrons. By extension, OLSSI serves communities across Ohio and beyond, beginning at the front desk of local public, K-12 school, academic, government, and special libraries. Our conference directly impacts the work attendees do in their workplaces, including social services such as free resume and legal assistance, services for elders and people with disabilities, research, and public programming for children and adults.
