We are a non profit dog rescue that started in 1989. Our mission statement is to place healthy but unwanted dogs in loving homes. To that end, we do events to educate people about dogs (especially children - we have coloring books to explain responsible dog ownership). We hope with education, we can try to curb the unwanted dogs. Events also let us showcase the dogs for adoption. We now cover all of California, Arizona and Southern Nevada for Old English Sheepdogs. At our various events, we hand out flyers about the importance of spay/neuter of animals along with the names and addresses of local clinics. When we receive calls about breeding/spay/neuter, we mail out packets of information. We have offered and paid to spay/neuter any OES if the owners are having financial problems. We also include a page in our Spanish/English coloring books about the importance of spay/neuter.
