The Mission of the OSA PTSA is to promote collaboration between families, scholars, and teachers to enrich the educational experiences at OSACPS. OSA PTSA will support the needs of scholars and staff through fundraising and by being active stewards of the academy.
Old Sturbridge Academy Charter Public School is an EL Education school working in partnership with Old Sturbridge Village to foster a learning environment that represents all aspects of the diversity spectrum where our students will meet or exceed grade-level expectations in all subject areas. EL Education is a nonprofit that partners with school districts and charter boards to create classrooms where teachers can fulfill their highest aspirations and students achieve more than they think possible, becoming active contributors to building a better world. The school is distinguished by the four key elements of EL Education: a commitment to community, a commitment to quality work, a commitment to real world applications and a commitment to imagination, exploration and immersion. A culture of quality permeates the school and our students will graduate with an understanding of how they learn best and how to advocate for the resources they need when they are challenged. The Mission of OSACPS is to provide K-8 students with rigorous, real world learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing school community, helping all students to become reflective inquisitors, articulate communicators, critical thinkers, and skilled problem solvers.
