Olive Support Services is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening and
empowering the community in the Antelope Valley, by helping them reach healthy goals. In the
year 2021, 76,000 inmates will be released from prison/jail and placed on parole, with hopes of
reintegrating into society. Our mission is to provide opportunities for these justice-involved
individuals—who are in serious need of referrals and direct services/support—to decrease
recidivism with high-quality reentry intensive services.
As you may know, many of these justice-involved individuals have no place to go upon their
release. Unfortunately, this means that they are either living on the streets, couch surfing, or
sleeping in vehicles—which increases the risk of being reincarcerated. For this reason, we are
asking for donations of hygiene and clothing items to provide to these men and women, who
just want to reintegrate into society. We are looking to provide them with the following:
toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, wipes, hand sanitizer, women’s sanitary products, toilet
paper, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, jackets, socks, shoes, backpacks, and any other item you
see fit. By providing them with these items, they will feel supported, seen, and heard by their
fellow community members.
