Friends of Omaha Mom Prom,
This year Omaha Mom Prom is excited to announce our work alongside Kids Can to raise funds for their mission to educate, engage, and inspire children through early childhood care and out-of-school experiences. The proceeds from the event will support the Kids Can Community Center. Founded in 1908 as Social Settlement, the organization has been serving Omaha families for 113 years. “At Kids Can, most of our children live in households either at or below the poverty line. Serving over 1,300 kids through our center, five elementary school sites, and two summer programs across North and South Omaha, everything we do at Kids Can is based on the belief that every child, no matter where they live, the color of their skin, their family situation, their household income... EVERY child deserves to have the opportunity for a successful start in life.”

So what is Omaha Mom Prom? It is an event open to women 21 and up who come together to raise money for a nonprofit in the community. It originally started as a fundraiser for a family, but has grown to help organizations like Nebraska SIDS, HETRA, Nebraska Red Dawgs and more. Empowered women making a difference in their community while having a night out with friends — it is as amazing as it sounds!
The next Omaha Mom Prom is February 26, 2022 at the Soiree Room. Image Entertainment will provide our DJ and Attitude on Food will supply some tasty treats. It will be a great time!
We are looking for wonderful businesses for sponsorships or donations to help support our event to benefit Kids Can. This comes with exposure to a 300-woman event, made up of mostly moms, with the added benefit of Helping a nonprofit in our community
