One Life Counseling Center is a public benefit non-profit corporation organized in 2015 under the statutes of the State of California to provide quality, low-cost counseling to individuals, families, and couples. Our mission is to provide easy access to counseling, education, and opportunities to connect through service. Therapy is provided by professionally supervised trainees, associates and Licensed Therapists using a non-profit and a private practice model. One Life Counseling Center receives fees from some therapy clients based on their ability to pay. In addition, accessible, low-cost, and affordable counseling is provided to clients with limited income through donations as well as grants from organizations. No individual seeking counseling is turned away due to inability to pay.

One Life offers multilingual and culturally competent individual and group therapy, as well as mental health services through community and school-based collaborative programs. Community-based program services include coaching and group facilitation for support groups with youth and young mothers, providing mental health services to local Police Athletic League youth participants, music and memory therapy for seniors, life skills development with English Language Learners and Continuing Education for non-profit staff and other community service groups. One Life’s school-based programs focus on strengthening the resilience of students by empowering students to utilize mindfulness resources in the classroom, providing coping tools for daily use, art therapy and connecting youth who have experienced trauma with safety net services as well as individual and group counseling.

We provide easy access to counseling, education, and opportunity to connect through service. We believe that mental health services should be easily accessible, readily available and comfortable. We offer individual and mental health services in person or telehealth, food and basic essential items for anyone and everyone that needs it. We offer opportunities for our community to volunteer with Food Distributions, Holiday and Clothing Drives. We partner with other non-profit organizations to provide mental health services. Our therapists offer training, education and to school districts, companies, volunteer groups and more.
