At Open Heart Magic, we're all about helping all sick kids get their magic back. 

Being hospitalized can be frightening for anyone, but especially for a child. Every day, kids find themselves in frightening medical situations. As kids undergo treatments – surrounded by strangers – they can become overwhelmed with fear and sadness.

That’s where Open Heart Magic comes in by delivering strength to sick kids facing difficult illness, unexpected hospital stays, and frightening medical situations. Through our unique Hospital Bedside Magic® programming, young patients are engaged, empowered, and inspired to face their illness with courage. 

Open Heart Magic is committed to reaching every sick kid in a hospital. Our volunteer Hospital Magicians are trained to adapt their magic interactions for kids in burn units, protective isolation rooms, oncology, neurology, and throughout the hospital. We see all kids — regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations — because we believe every child deserves to experience the healing, therapeutic power of magic.
