Open Studio Project's mission is to bring art directly to individuals for personal growth, social-emotional learning and community well-being. We offer visual arts programs for adults and youth throughout the Chicagoland area, with a focus on the artistic process and journaling to encourage self-reflection and healing. We work with community partners to bring these programs to the people they serve, including art and social-emotional learning residencies at Chicago Public Schools, after school programs in under-resourced communities, summer camps as well as programs for adult groups, including women who are survivors of domestic abuse, veterans, people who are homeless and adults with developmental disabilities.
