Founded in 2003, Operation: Care and Comfort's mission is to provide support and comfort to deployed troops, military veterans and their families. Gold Star famileis, too. Our all-volunteer organization meets weekly to pack and mail care packages to "adopted" military units serving in conflict regions around the world, or while serving on humanitarian missions overseas and in the USA, until they return.
OCC also assists military personnel, veterans and their families here at home through two unique programs, OCC Tickets for Troops and OCC Adopt a Military Family. These programs allow us to support service members, veterans, Gold Star families and military families who are left behind when a loved one deploys. We also offer one time assistance to them when needed.
