Operation Get Out (OGO) is a 501c3 that gives back to front line responders, military, nurses, front line workers, and veterans experiencing stress, illness, depression, anxiety, loss, and PTS. Science shows that being in, near, or on the water can provide a long list of benefits for our mind and body, including lowering stress and anxiety, increasing an overall sense of well-being and happiness, help treat and manage PTS, addiction, anxiety depression, autism and more.
OGO's annual cornerstone fundraising event - the Get Out Girl Surf & Paddle Jam - will be held on Lake Austin on September 25-26. It's an all-female weekend on the water, followed by an after-party open to the public with food, DJ, live music, silent and live auctions. All proceeds from the event benefit Operation Get Out, to provide #bluemind mental wellness experiences for first responders, front line workers, nurses, military, and veterans.
