This year Orient - Macksburg middle/high school is continuing to use the Positive Behavior In Schools (PBIS) program. This program encourages students to make positive choices, have optimistic outlooks on school and life, encourages everyone to always do their best in what they do, and have excellent attendance in school and classes. PBIS also allows schools to have a consistent protocol for any disciplinary issues that may arise and helps to improve upon classroom management for staff and students alike. It truly focuses on respecting one’s self, others, and the places our students and staff are in.

To go along with the PBIS program, our middle and high school students will have extra incentives to promote these positive choices. We have a monthly assembly for handing out these incentives. For all students who achieve the given monthly goal, their name will be entered into the monthly raffle, starting in September and ending in June.

In order to achieve this, we are asking each business for their support of this program. Our goal is to have a variety of businesses donate a minimum of 2 tickets, gift certificates, or monetary donations to use for these raffle prizes. This would unite and support family activities outside of school and working hours. I know businesses are struggling during these uncertain times, so any donation your business is willing to donate to help support this program is more than appreciated. If your business is willing to help by donating, all donations can be:
