The mission of the Osceola County Historical Society is to collect and preserve the county's history, and provide educational, research and recreational opportunities to foster an understanding and enjoyment of the area's cultural and natural heritage. 

 

Osceola History maintains and manages three locations, a welcome center and history museum which is open free of charge, a 10-acre pioneer village with 16 structures depicting life in 1890's rural Florida and a research center.
