The Otis Elementary PTA (Parent Teacher Association) works hard to ensure that students at Otis continue to enjoy programs and enrichment opportunities that have largely been eliminated at many public schools in our state.
Through fundraising efforts, the Otis PTA pays for and supports important programs, such as kindergarten music, classroom technology (for example, smart boards and Chromebooks), reading and math specialists, monthly classroom Art & Garden docent lessons, motor fitness classes, educational assemblies, and classroom grants (critical classroom supplies, field trips, and other activities).
Funds are also used exclusively for schoolwide programs such as an instructor led STEAM Lab and Soul Shoppe, assemblies with a social emotional curriculum for all grade levels.
