OCP is a cooperative preschool that has run out of a park community room in Burbank for 30 years. We are a parent participation program which means guardians work alongside our Teacher/Director to help with the day-to-day operations of our school. We are a school that builds community and lifelong friendships for families and students. We also believe in leaving a positive impact in our community through service projects and providing an early education program that is equitable and accessible for all members of the community, offering the most affordable tuition costs in the area. Our school is play-based and child-led, providing a space where children can explore and feel comfortable and supported. Additionally, we provide parent/guardian enrichment and education opportunities to all our member families. Our Teacher/Director is a non-binary artist who calls themselves a "jack-of-all crafts" with a Masters's degree in Education from USC. Above all, OCP is a diverse safe space and intergenerational learning environment for families from all walks of life to come together to create community.
