The Overland Trail Elementary PTO is comprised of 20+ all-volunteer PTO committees. These committees are dedicated to making sure all of our 640+ students and 80+ staff members have the supplies, tools and support needed to thrive in their education. Our PTO provides school supplies/cold-weather clothing necessities/holiday aid/yearbooks (through our Support-A-Cougar Program), grants for teachers to be able to integrate creative/hands-on/educational projects (beyond what our school district is able to provide), family social nights, book fairs and activities to promote literacy, monthly community service initiatives (to encourage our students to give back to the KC community), teacher/staff project assistance, cultural arts programs (to celebrate the amazing diversity of our student population), etc.
