We have a great school with a great bunch of kids – but that’s not enough. Our school of 500 students (grades K-5) represents a blend of children from a variety of neighborhoods, parental backgrounds, and cultural influences. Overlook views this diversity as an opportunity to promote educational equality among all of its students, through a wide array of creative, relevant and unique social and academic activities, and our PTO is dedicated to supporting those goals. Through fundraising events like this one, our PTO is able to provide projects, events, and activities that extend the educational experience for the students that are not otherwise provided by the school budget. This year, we are raising funds to support our enrichment programs for Math and Reading. This includes Reading Olympics entry and book fees, One School One Book, Reading Night and Math Night that extend the educational experience for the students.
