The mission of Paige's Butterfly run is to support current and future pediatric cancer patients and families at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. Galisano is the largest cancer and blood disorder center for children in our area, serving approximately 700 families per year from over 17 counties in New York State. From the time a family hears the diagnosis words no family should hear, we provide support beginning with a package that includes comfort items such as; a fleece blanket, water bottle, t-shirts, hygiene products and a $150 visa card. We provide funding to the family to help pay bills, cover travel expenses, purchase meals and so much more! Most recently we provided a 1.5 million dollar endowment that will perpetually provide for the professorship of the chief oncologist.
