Palos Verdes Ballet Association is a non profit organization that has been enhancing the Arts and Culture of the Palos Verdes Peninsula by showcasing quality ballet productions since 1981. In addition to bringing access to the arts to the wider community, these full length ballet productions also provide the students of Palos Verdes Ballet, an affiliated classical ballet school of the association, invaluable performance experience with international guest artists. Bringing a ballet on stage requires significant financial investment to cover costume fees, stage fee, stage crew costs, etc. This is why each year, the association raises money through fundraiser galas to be able fund a production each in Spring and Winter.
