Para Bajitos Inc, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the production and promotion of events, theater, literature, music and entertainment for children in South Florida. It was founded by Yani Martin and I, Roman Fernandez.
Since we created this organization back in 2018, and even in times of quarantine and pandemic, we have carried out many face-to-face and online events reaching more than 50.000 families through theater plays, acting classes for children, storytelling, children's fairs, interactive audiovisuals of crafts, and other activities for families with children.
Our mission is to produce bilingual art for children with the purpose of inspiring them using their main assets, the power of imagination and the desire to explore the world. To achieve this, our organization brings stories to life using performing arts such as dance, fine arts, and theater allowing them to open their minds and explore through different perspectives.
These programs inspire children to think and question how to make this world a better place starting with themselves; having always in mind that obstacles can be overcome just like those main characters they see at a theater play or a movie who most of them truly existed and are now part of our art history.
