The mission of Texas Paralyzed Veterans of America (Texas PVA) is to serve veterans with spinal cord injury/disease, and individuals with disabilities, by providing programs that build a better future for them so they may be active in the community and live life to its fullest. Texas PVA was established in 1972 and currently serves veterans in south Texas.

From supporting important health issues to connecting veterans to resources and programs, Texas PVA is a multifaceted, fully committed advocate for veterans with spinal cord injury/disease (SCI/D).

Texas PVA strives to build a community of confident and capable people regardless of their physical capabilities. The goal is to improve the quality of life for veterans with SCI/D. By providing services, the organization helps veterans live happier, healthier, and more satisfying lives.
