The Parent Association of PS9 exists to create community and support the education and enrichment of the students and families associated with PS9, the Sarah Anderson School, location at West 84th Street and Columbus Avenue on Manhattan's Upper West Side. We raise funds to provide vital programs not covered by the NYC Department of Education. These include full-time Assistant Teachers for all students—critical to catching students up after the pandemic-related disruption of 2020 and 2021; Spanish, art and instrumental music; and our part-time librarian (we wouldn’t have one at all otherwise).
