The mission of PARA has five parts: 1). to promote the welfare of the children in home, school and community; 2). to bring into closer relation and to improve communication between the home and the school; 3). to develop better public relations within the school and the community; 4). to advise the Riley Avenue Elementary School administrators of parental concerns; 5). to promote special programs for the educational enrichment of the children as well as the parents. These objectives are promoted through educational programs and are developed through conferences, committees, projects and programs.
