So, who are and why should you donate, you ask…?
We are Park Forest Community and Pool Association and our residents absolutely love our community! In recent years, we have been working hard to raise money to update our beloved neighborhood pool that was originally built in the 1950’s. Our pool is very important to the families in our neighborhood as so many have celebrated milestones there and our pool is home to our “small but deadly” Piranhas swim team. Our swim team has over 80 kids competitively swimming, ages ranging from 4-17.
After a few years of fundraising, we were finally able to complete construction on our new pool that just opened Memorial Day weekend! Thanks in large part to donors in years past. We are not quite finished yet though….next step is to prepare our pool and facilities to be able to host competitive swim meets, so this year all fundraising efforts go to continued improvement to onsite facilities and securing the (very pricey) swim team equipment needed.
We are a 501c organization and will provide a donation receipt for any donations.
