Our Mission is to raise awareness and provide funding for research with aspirations of advancing pancreatic cancer treatments.

Parker Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research was established to provide financial assistance to families undergoing cancer treatments, and may result in needing support through forms of gas, lodging, meals, etc. AT Parker Foundation for Pancreat Cancer Research we believe that nobody should have to face additional challenges when being diagnosed with this disease and wonder how they are going to be able to attend their appointments. In 2009 when Chris Parker, the father of our Founder, Cody Ayers, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, his family often wondered how they would be able to travel to and from doctor appointments and treatments. Many of times, Cody's family had to travel out of state, from Kansas to Rochester, Minnesota to the Mayo Clinic for treatments.

The family faced numerous of financial hardships due to the amount of lodging and traveling that needed to be done. In 2010, at the age of 34, Chris Parker passed away from an 8 month battle of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Cody made a committment that day to continue fighting his father's battle until a cure is developed and help relieve the stress on families impacted by this disease. Over the last few year's Cody has developed a plan to execute his mission and continue to raise funding to further advance research.

Back in 2010, pancreatic cancer patients had below a 4% five-year survival rate. Now, patients have roughly a 12% five-year survival rate due to support from various organizations across the country helping fund research. At Parker Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, we believe that we can make our impact on advancing the five-year survival rate even more by helping provide financial support to individuals undergoing research on this disease. Your support is vital in continuing to advance pancreatic cancer treatements across the country to prevent families from facing the hardships that Cody's family endured.
