The mission of PAL is to offer an array of opportunities supported by technology, therapies and community experiences that promote lifelong learning and societal membership to an extraordinary group of adults.
Although clients participating in the PAL Program experience significant physical challenges they actively seek opportunities to be part of their community and to grow as individuals. This not only makes them unique, but challenging to serve in a group setting. Clearbrook’s PAL Program provides:
· Year-round, full-day services five days per week
· Individual planning meetings to identify and develop services that continually respond to interests/ desires of clients
· Content that is age appropriate and interest driven
· Staffing ratios that complement attributes of each client
· Assistive technology across environments
· Community-based opportunities for volunteer experiences and recreational activities
· Opportunities for ongoing education
